Surface Preparation
- Surface must be clean and structurally sound.
- Remove dust, grease, oil, loose particles, and contaminants.
- Repair cracks and damaged areas before application.
- Ensure substrate is reasonably dry before coating.
Application Procedure
Apply Bitumen Emulsion uniformly using brush, roller, or airless spray. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying subsequent coats. Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first coat direction for complete coverage. For critical waterproofing applications, apply an additional third coat.
Coverage Rate
Smooth Surface: 1 Liter = 1.5 – 2.0 m²
Rough Surface: 1 Liter = 1.0 – 1.5 m²
Actual coverage depends on substrate condition and porosity.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months in original unopened containers.
